COP in MyCity is a youth-led project which ambitions to bridge the gap between climate negotiations (a.k.a. COPs) and the mainstream public, foster education and action about climate change locally and create an international community of youth climate leaders committed to the success of COP21 (2015).

COP in MyCity is a worldwide youth mobilization project on climate change. It is also a community of youth organisations/groups in a large number of cities in the world committed to the success of international negotiations on climate change through local mobilization and education, and through international cultural dialogue.

Our goals:
 Bring the expertise about climate change to young people and citizens, raise awareness about the COP and act locally by gathering climate actors in our cities.

 Influence the climate negotiations by building a common vision using the tool of simulation games.

The final objective?
COP21, which will take place in Paris in 2015. This is the deadline countries have set for themselves to come to a global agreement on cutting their carbon emissions, for the first time in the history of climate negotiations. We must act for COP21 to succeed and provide humanity with a strong legal framework to avoid catastrophic climate change.a worldwide youth mobilization project on climate change. It is also a community of youth organisations/groups in a large number of cities in the world committed to the success of international negotiations on climate change through local mobilization and education, and through international cultural dialogue.

We conducted the COP19 COP in MyCity Simulation Conference (first of its kind) at JNTU-H which focused on consensus building, negotiations and simulations on the lines of COP 19 which is happening on 11-22nd November in Warsaw, Poland. We simulated a UN Climate Summit with technical data using  C-ROADS by Climate Interactive modelled on the lines of IPCC norms.
We have conducted a Climate Leadership Workshop (110 Students) on 8th November ?13 and Online Awareness with a reach of 10,000 people online around COP19. We are committed to the success of the climate change mitigation process through international culture dialogue and mass awareness.
