Petrochemical plants
We have been making remarkable progress in the petrochemical industry, both domestically and abroad, since the 70s. In Korea alone we have been the driving force in the development of heavy and chemical industries, and our ability has grown.
Our overseas achievements are also remarkable.
We have successfully designed and constructed high quality oil plants in Indonesia, Vietnam, China, India and Saudi Arabia.

Oil & Gas

Refineries and gas projects were kicked off strategically at the beginning of the 90's.
Experience gained by the workforce on high quality petrochemical projects helped us to gain a wider range of technology and experience.
We have successfully completed myriad of gas projects around the world such as China, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippine, Mexico, Egypt, and India.

Industrial plants

Samsung Engineering participating in various construction projects on a turn-key basis ranging from electricity generating plants, to SOC projects, electronics, semi-conductors, automobiles, food and pigment. One world recognized achievement is the Sang Am World Cup Stadium, which has become a world famous tourist attraction.
We are standing in the forefront as a development partner in railroad technology started in 90's and theme park construction. Especially in 2002, we are credited with combining engineering in sports complex by constructing 'top 10 stadium in the world' in Sang Am World Cup Stadium.

Environmental plants

Project development in environment sector is quickly becoming the main focus of the 21st century Samsung Engineering.
Recently, we expanded our business to water treatment for paper mills, dioxin removal,

urban sewage treatment, semi-conductor super purity making, the treatment of water from generating plants, waste incinerators, smoke and sulphur removal, and nitrogen removal plants.
Our ability on Feed Back Design through O&M (Operation & Maintenance), along with R&D ability in the Environment Research Center, is contributing to the cutting down of running costs for plants, as well as increasing efficiency.

Samsung Engineering is preparing to specialize and strengthen the environment sector which is recording 6% annual growth as a development for the future.
